That about sums it up-our day of decorating on Saturday. It was so much fun to be able to share the joy with Emily in our new house.
I don't think I will quite forget this holiday decking the halls. It was such a beautiful picture of abiding and recognizing Him in our lives-even in the lights and greenery. While we were stringing the lights up on the tree the song "Glory in the Highest" was blaring through the house (I am sure it was loud enough that the neighbors across the cornfields could here it) And in the middle of the song as I came around the tree I found my mom on her knees. Arms stretched open wide and voice uninhibited-praising and worshiping the King of Kings. I am not going to soon forget that sight of my mother-worshiping the babe, the son of Light there in our midst.

You are the first, You go before
You are the last, Lord, You're the encore
Your name's in lights for all to see
The starry host declare Your glory
Glory in the highest
Glory in the highest
Glory in the highest
Apart from You there is no God
Light of the world, the bright and morning star
Your name will shine for all to see
You are the one, You are my glory
And no one else could ever compare
To You, Lord
All the earth together declares.....

Glory in the highest
Glory in the highest
Glory in the highest
To You, Lord, to You, Lord
All the earth will sing Your praise
The moon and stars, the sun and rain
Every nation will proclaim
You are God and You will reign
be blessed
..ez..
Wonderful photography, Libby (and Emily?) I especially like the picture of you two girls getting the lights up to the very top of the tree. Light is beautiful, just like Jesus.
I love this! Thank you for sharing... I've never heard of that song before, but it sounds absolutely amazing! :) Love you, Libby!
