::Journey of Change::

    Glancing through photos and realizing how much change happens. Life can't exist without change. It's simple and maybe dumb sounding but it hit me today. Just a week ago these leaves were gracing the branches around us, and now the trees are bare as dry bones.

    People come and go and change. The Journey to the Heart department is what became the launching pad for the change in my life. Coming up on 5 years I have been at head quarters in OakBrook, IL. The department did not consist of any of the girls pictured below. But really it doesn't matter who is there....God is the one working in and through the people. We currently have two journeys being held this week. One in a prison down in Florida - a first for us...and a guys journey being hosted in the frigid North Woods of Michigan. If you are not familiar with the Journey to the Heart program I would highly recommend that you check it out. This is what I would recommend to anyone looking to get away and hear the voice of God. It's ten days where you are free to seek God and have Him find you.

nolimits::Peru

Yes.

I am a firm believe in no limitations. With Jesus ALL things are possible.
We are not bound by this earth-this earth and sky hold no limitations to what He can accomplish in us.

Today we spent time with nursing students-like ALL day.

Okay so what is kinda of freaking me out is this-
the other day I asked Him for me to introduce one person to Jesus...and He gave five.
Today I asked for one and He gave 40 students and a woman on the street named Clara.

And it doesn't stop there.. it's happening all around me with everyone else here. He is using everyone-pouring out boldness like I have never felt or experienced before.

My God is not dead-He is roaring like a Lion

be blessed

(so I am horribly behind in photos but here are some highlights of today)

btw
we were given a tour of the Presidential Palace (equivalent to the White House in the USA)

13 March 2012
Waking up this morning I didn't have a clue what the day would hold. Multiple cups of coffee later we loaded up on the bus and yet it was still unclear what would happen. We knew the basic facts of what we were about to head to but nothing really could have prepared us for what we encountered.

Heading off the paved road we kicked up dirt and dust as we made our way to the disaster site. As we got out of the bus dust and rancid water hit your senses like a freight train. We arrived to a village/town that had been completely demolished by a flood. Our mud boots sank into the water drowned earth. A truck was there with bottle of water needing to be unloaded for the people. All of us formed a line and unloaded the truck with the relief workers.

Teams were formed and soon we headed out to once again the unknown. Armed with shovels, wheelbarrows, and ready arms we turned down the street. Only this was no street-it was the biggest mud slip and slide you've ever laid eyes on. The ground swallowed each step you took as we walked to our house that was to be mucked out. The house our team ended up with was more like an open barn area-pigs still living  in the pens. Looking around it felt so helpless-from the mud boot deep damage to the vultures flying over head. The sites and sounds were overwhelming all at once. but He spoke peace...and even though there was barely a dent made from the work we helped with it was okay. He is greater and he kept reminding me that He is good no matter what.

I don't doubt His goodness-but as people questioned God and why He would allow this to happen.....it made Jesus even more so real and the truth He offers. Many of the people were ministered to either in song, story, or a helping hand from our group. It was beautiful to see Him literally allowing us to be His hands, His feet, His voice.

I give Him all the glory and honor and praise and majesty.

well-that will have to wait for another post lol
I will say that it was an incredible day.

What He made real in my life was this-

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen"
Blessings
