Alright, this is my first time doing this but He has given me a vision so here we go!
My sister and brother in law (Jenny and Justin) decided to begin the journey down the road of adoption-specifically the adoption of Delight Miana in Haiti. She was born on April 26, 2010. Since that time the process has been an expectant time. Jenny and Justin were able to go visit her on her 1st birthday this year!
It was such a beautiful picture to see the video they made of their very first meeting. How precious she is to my heart. I can't begin to express how I can't wait to see her. But my expectancy does not compare to that of my sisters and brother in laws. Imagine going to see your daughter in another country and then having to leave her there? I am amazed by their faith and patience during this waiting time.
So here is my challenge for each of you reading this-
Would you be willing within this next two week time period to commit to praying and fasting one day? My vision is to have one person take a day to set aside to pray and fast specifically for Delights arrival to the states.
Here is what I would ask that you pray for:
- Pray for Delight Miana to be allowed to come home for THIS Christmas
- Pray for the Haitian government to not get tied up with documentation
- Pray for the United States government be able to process visas, passports, documents quickly and efficiently
- Pray for safe travels for those who will be bringing her
- Pray that the Enemy will be bound and rebuked over this entire situation
- Pray for peace for Jenny and Justin
- Pray for a miracle and that He would be glorified
