Kinda just a little background to how my mom even had the opportunity presented to her. It is incredible how God throws open the doors for us. All we need to do is trust and jump into the rush-the deep of His goodness-let it saturate and consume our fears. Here are couple more of her thoughts-

My friend Dorothy shot me an email simply saying "Would you be interested in this?" CWE (Construction for Worldwide Evangelism) was building a church in Haiti and they had an opening for a couple of kitchen workers.
She knew my daughter was adopting a little girl from Haiti and she thought I might be interested in seeing the culture she came from. I said "yes" and applied for my first passport - Simple beginnings, just taking the leap of faith,taking the Hand of the Lord I walked to the edge, I dove in. God took me deep, caught in the rush, lost in the flow, over my head--right where I wanted to go.
