I know that many have been laboring in prayer and asking for a miracle. And finally after what seemed like an eternity, our little Haitian princess is home safe and in the arms of her family.
Trying to describe the emotionally packed day will take forever. But, I must say that waiting in the O'Hare airport seemed like ages and ages. I had just flown in from California and then drove to meet up with the rest of the family that was waiting breathlessly in the terminal.
Balloons, laughter, dancing, pacing and nervous chatter filled the atmosphere. With each group of weary travelers coming down we would all gather around, our eyes straining to catch a glimpse of our special girl coming home. Finally after strangers curiously lingering around and moving around us someone exclaimed, "I see them!!!!"
The beautiful moments that enfolded from that time are priceless. A big thank you to Emily and Tony for capturing pretty much a historic moment in our lives. A big thank you to all that have been praying and waiting for this moment with us. You are a huge part of this and so I would like to officially introduce you to Delight Miana Chambers.
Be blessed
