worshiptheKing::Peru

So right now once again I am so tired that I can't believe I am hitting the right keys on the keyboard

We spent the day in church (literally) Three services throughout the day...each one unique in it's own way. One of my favorite parts about being here is worshiping in another culture. I love to praise Jesus right alongside someone-each speaking a different tongue but worshiping the same awesome, majestic King of Glory.

be blessed

it shall overflow::Peru

So you know the floodgates of Heaven and how they are to be flung open and pour out blessings?

Ya

That's pretty much it. Those floodgates got torn off the hinges today. I couldn't and still can't comprehend all that took place. What I can say is that it's all Jesus - there is NO doubt.

I will let the pictures do the talking. Words have run away from me tonight.

If you do want another perspective (for those who need words... :) Check out the following blog!

Step into the water::Peru

Here we are again. I am amazed and astonished-blown away by this entire day.

Everyone arrived last night (morning) around 2ish am. It went from a day of 'just planning' to this crazy, God filled, amazing day. It seemed to be like a forever day-yet it went by so fast.

You know when you are filled with His presence? You begin to shake, or laugh, or cry, or all at the same time. Well when I was on the plane coming here He gave me a vision -

The waves were looming and crashing into each other. Dark and heavy clouds ripped open and spilled out torrents of rain. Wind howled and tossed the waves even higher. And in the midst He was there, standing on that tempest sea. It was like I was there-smelling the salt mingled with intense fear. And then I heard His voice cut through it all - He heard my desire and simply said, "Come". His outstretched hand reaching for mine.

I mulled over that vision for a while as we flew into Peru. Then today a few of us were praying, crying out to God for Him to fling open the doors and provide clear direction. One of the girls prayed the scripture of Jesus standing on the water and calling out to Peter. It just exploded in my head as she prayed...It was Him telling me once again to come.

I don't know what these next two weeks hold-but I know it's going to be more than ever before imagined.

be blessed

whole::world::hears

Sometime I forget.

I forget that I can't do things. Like seriously. I think I can do so many things. And then I try and fail-like utterly and completely fail. And then I get upset. I fume inside and kick myself. My human limitations could bind me. I could let those failings stop me and give up. I could become one of those "I can'ts" and let life pass on by while I live within my 'limitations'

Heck yes, I am weak.

But then I remember.

He is strong. He is more than able. And if I really and truly believe that I am in Him and He is in me then things start to change. And the impossible becomes possible. Those limits are erased. Those boundaries are demolished. Those looming walls are torn down. More than a conqueror? Yes - in Jesus.

So when I think about this trip I catch myself 'limiting' what I think is going to happen. I think that just because I feel unprepared that only certain things will be able to be accomplished. Don't judge, I am being honest here. I am saying that I have fears and doubts-but right now I am recognizing that He is an all consuming God. His thoughts are not my original, first thoughts. His plans are not my own. But He wants them to be.

So here we go.
 My voice? Ha, no way man-it's His. My hands? Nope. My feet? Uh uh.
Once again diving deep not knowing where or how but trusting He's got this.

be blessed
.ez.

Lord I want to feel your heart
and see the world through your eyes
I want to be your hands and feet
I want to live a life that leads

ready yourselves
ready yourselves
Let us shine the light of Jesus in the darkest night
ready yourselves
ready yourselves

May the powers of darkness tremble as our praises rise
Until the whole world hears Lord we are calling out
Lifting up Your name for all to hear the sound
Like voices in the wilderness we're crying out
as the day draws near
we'll sing until the whole world hears

Lord let your sleeping giant arise
Catch the demons by surprise
Holy nation sanctified
Let this be our battle cry

we'll sing until the whole world hears
we'll sing until the whole world hears

Want to be your hands and feet
Want to be a life that leads
To see you set the captive free
Until the whole world hears

David.Priscilla::breathless moments

So you know when you are waiting for something...and it's those very few moments right before it happens your breath catches and everything slows down for a moment. The anticipation, the rush of adrenaline coursing through your body is insane.

I can't quite imagine what was going on in Priscilla's mind as these moments before the wedding ceremony actually took place but it was a great time. Of course with girls we told them to be ready at 10:30 - and so that meant that we started sometime after 11 :) It was such a great time being with the bridesmaids and Priscilla...they were up for anything and so we made it fun...

Well enjoy and be blessed

If you are wondering where the groomsmen are, well check them out here on - looks like the had a blast :D
