no internet. no contact. I've been enjoying that for the past couple days. A break from all the crazy life. It's been good over this long weekend to just be. Be at peace, be relaxed, be.
It's been a while since we have been camping (we, as in me with my family) I had forgotten how much I love life in a campground. Every single part of it-even though I didn't say a whole lot this vacation time-I enjoyed every single minute of it. J
Just taking in the smoky air from the campfires and the wild bikes rides with my kids who I love so much. I don't think I have been on that many 'adventures' in a very long time (dangerous trail rides through enemy infested territory....my nephews and niece were a great team)
This morning my mom and I went for a bike ride to the horse camp-a part of the campground dedicated solely to those avid horse riders. It was like stepping into another world there. One of cowboys and hay bails. The campsites are built in with posts for your horse and it's pretty much perfect for those that have their trailers and all.
We left early due to the weather...but it was just as well because mom and I got to spend time in town and all and then came back to enjoy some icecream with dad.
Yeppers, it's been great. Just knowing that He has been enjoying this weekend more than I even have...that thought makes me smile cause I know it's true. He has blessed me in a not so ordinary way over these last couple days. It's something to treasure-this time of just being-being at peace, being with family, being with Him.
be blessed
..ez..
