photoshoot::Meet the Keilens

So meet Becky and Bradon. On staff here as siblings-and humored me for a couple of hours this weekend. Much thanks goes out to them for doing the 'crazy' and  making it a grand adventure. Also, thanks to Em for helping shoot and collaborate together with these awesome people.

After thinking about it for a while I just was amazed-I mean, wow-He is SO good. Surrounded by beauty and friends who are willing to explore the depths of the vast amazingness of our God.

enjoy and be blessed

(oh p.s-FLORIDA here we come!!!)

So I haven't read him in a while-Oswald, that is.

But it seems that whenever I do pick him up it's just what He (Jesus) was wanting to tell me.

and then I found this picture-it took my breath away, I want to see this sight one day and breath in the air around it and know that my God is 'much more' than that looming mountain of thoughts for today and the possible days to come.

here is an except from this morning

"Sufficient for the day is its own trouble". How much trouble has begun to threaten you today? What kind of mean little demons have been looking into your life and saying. "what are your plans for next month - or next summer?" Jesus tells us not to worry about any of these things. Look again and think. Keep your mind on the "much more" of your Heavenly Father.

Matthew 6:25-34

be blessed

[muchofYou]

How could I stand here
And watch the sun rise
Follow the mountains
Where they touch the sky
Ponder the vastness
And the depths of the sea
And think for a moment
The point of it all was to make much of me
Cause I'm just a whisper
And You are the thunder

I want to make much of You, Jesus
I want to make much of Your love
I want to live today to give You the praise
That You alone are so worthy of
I want to make much of Your mercy
I want to make much of Your cross
I give You my life
Take it and let it be used
To make much of You

And how can I kneel here
And think of the cross
The thorns and the whip and the nails and the spear
The infinite cost
To purchase my pardon
And bear all my shame
To think I have anything worth boasting in except for Your name
Cause I am a sinner
And You are the Savior

I want to make much of You, Jesus
I want to make much of Your love
I want to live today to give You the praise
That You alone are so worthy of
I want to make much of Your mercy
I want to make much of Your cross
I give You my life
Take it and let it be used

To make much of You

This is Your love, oh God
Not to make much of me
But to send Your own son
So that we could make much of You

For all eternity

I want to make much of You Jesus
I want to make much of Your love
I want to live today to give You the praise
That You alone are so worthy of
I want to make much of Your mercy
I want to make much of Your cross
I give You my life
Take it and let it be used
To make much of You

I want to make much of You
Much of You Jesus

This song hit me hard-so powerful and fiercely beautiful the pictures it paints on my canvas.

streams::morning

God know just when to withhold from us any visible sign of encouragement, and when to grant us such a sign. How good it is that we may trust Him anyway! When all visible evidences that He is remembering us are withheld, that is best; He wants us to realize that his word, His promise of remembrance, is more substantial and dependable than any evidence of our senses. When He sends the visible evidence, that is well also; we appreciate it all the more after we have trusted Him without it. Those who are readiest to trust God without other evidence than His Word always receive the greatest number of visible evidences of His Love.

~C. G. Trumball
Streams in the Desert

Delays are not refusals; many a prayer is registered, and underneath it the words: "My time is not yet come." God has a set time as well as a set purpose, and He who orders the bounds of our habitation orders also the time of our deliverance.

[shootin' up the city]

Grab your sack and a pair of good boots and head out for a shoot in the city. Well, that's how it started....how it ended-well, I will say I won't have to work out for a while...a long while :)

Perfect day for shootin', have to say.

be blessed
..ez..

oh, heres a bonus-a song that I just heard...

I ran away from your love
But you waited for me
Yes you waited for me
And then I heard your song
Singing over me
Singing over me

Now that I hear you Lord
I want to know you more
I want to know you more

Sing your song to me
Oh there’s no greater thing
Than to listen to the sound of your voice
When I hear your song
I want to sing along
And listen to the sound of your voice
The sound of your voice

Lord I am calling your name
And I’m waiting for you
Yes I’m waiting for you
So won’t you show me your way
And I will follow you
Yes I will follow you

Now that I hear you Lord
I want to know you more
I want to know you more

Sing your song to me
Oh there’s no greater thing
Than to listen to the sound of your voice
When I hear your song
I want to sing along
And listen to the sound of your voice

Singing over me
Bringing peace and mercy
With a song that never ends
Singing over me
Marvelous and holy
Lord I want to hear your song again
